  • Is there a charge for a roof inspection?

There is a minimal service charge for our roof inspections. However, if you choose RVA Roofing Services to complete your repair, that inspection fee is fully credited back toward your project cost. Essentially, your inspection ends up being free when you move forward with us! We do offer free inspections for roof replacements.

  • What maintenance should I do to prolong my roof’s life?

    • Clean leaves, branches, and debris regularly
    • Keep gutters clear and functioning
    • Inspect and repair flashing or sealant points
    • Schedule professional cleaning/inspections annually or after severe weather

Consider rejuvenation treatments if your shingles begin to show signs of dryness or granule loss.

  • What areas do you serve?

We serve Colonial Heights, Chesterfield, Richmond, Hopewell, Petersburg, Prince George County, Dinwiddie County, and surrounding areas in Central and Southern Virginia.

  • When is it better to repair vs. replace my roof?

We recommend repair if leaks or damage are localized and the roof structure is sound. Replacement is better when more widespread damage, excessive wear, or age-related deterioration (e.g., 20+ years) is present. During our inspection, we’ll advise the most cost-effective and safe option.

  • How much does a roof replacement cost?

The cost of a roof replacement can vary based on several factors—including the size and pitch of your roof, the type of materials used (such as architectural shingles or metal), and any additional repairs or upgrades needed (like decking, flashing, or gutter work).

  • How often should I get my roof inspected?

At least once a year and after major storms.
